On my way to see Robert E. Lee...John Brown... Lighting the Fuse... I made my way to a cute little Irish pub about a block up from the Wayside Theatre in historic Middletown, VA. I was pleasantly surprised to walk downstairs into their small but quaint Irish bar which happened to be well stocked with a selection of beer... In fact it is one of the few pubs in the area that has Guiness and Boddington Beer on tap which happens to be two of my favorites! Also I was able to enjoy listening to some Irish music by owner Brian Coughlan and friends... all in all a great experience for a happy hour! They have good happy hour drink specials every Tuesday-Friday from 4-7PM.
